Relay module 1 channel

A Relay module 1 channel is a digital switch that allows you to control far larger voltages and currents than other Arduino boards. Depending on your wiring, the relay will flip to enable current to flow or cutoff when a logic voltage is entered. A coil, one common terminal, one generally closed terminal, and one normally open terminal make up a relay. The common terminal and the normally open terminal will have continuity when the coil is powered.

Why are we using a relay, and do we actually need one? You'll need a relay to turn on or off a device that uses a lot of currents or operates at a high voltage, such as headlights, parking lights, horns, and so on.

Specifications Relay module 1 channel:

  1. The supply voltage VCC: 5 V
  2. Activated with low state
  3. Relay JQC-3FF-S-Z (documentation)
  4. Parameters of contacts for resistive load:
  5. 125VAC / 15 A
  6. 250 VAC / 10 A
  7. 250 VDC / 7 A
  8. Opto Isolation EL817 (documentation)
  9. The dimensions of the board are 53 x 28 mm
  10. Diameter of mounting holes: 3 mm

Examples of application:

  1. Driver of lighting
  2. The driver of actuators
  3. Switch for electric devices, including motors

Connection:

The module has three input leadsVCC, GND, IN. For the system to work correctly, you must connect the power supply 5 V to the VCC pin, ground GND and the input signal IN.

Output leads are described as NO - disabled by default, NC - connected, by default, with COM. Indicating the low status on the IN pin, switches the relay and makes the connection between the COM and NO, disconnecting the COM from NC.
