Mayo-Hegar Needle Holders are the most commonly used needle holders, the needle holders have a wide cross-serrated TC tip and used to handle larger, and heavier suture needles. Thick shank and Tungsten Carbide (TC) tip secure the needle firmly, TC tip lasts longer without losing the shape.
