Thanks to its outstanding stability LuxaCrown is raising the bar in prosthetic restorations. Produced with ease in one session in the treatment chair, the crown offers impressive long-term reliability.

In its role as a semi-permanent crown and bridge material, LuxaCrown bridges the gap between simple temporary provisionals and permanent dental prostheses with its significant requirements in terms of strength, durability and esthetics.

In-vitro studies into the relevant mechanical properties such as resistance to abrasion, fracture toughness and flexural strength have demonstrated the outstanding mechanical strength of the material.

Longevity has estimated by standardized chewing and wear simulation combined with artificial aging. These results suggest survival rates up to five years. (Long-term studies are currently underway.) Healthy tooth substance is preserved.

LuxaCrown is reliably hard and resistant. The material has, in addition to its excellent flexural strength, also exceptional fracture toughness with > 2MPa*m0,5.
