Calcium silicate produces CAH (Calcium Aluminate Hydrate) gel and CSH (Calcium Silicate Hydrate) gel by absorbing the moisture from surrounding tissues in the root canal and some crystallization of Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)2).

Properties:
Granulotec® is a Eugenol free, bactericidal, non resorbable and radiopaque preparation for the permanent obturation after pulpectomy and root canal used in the treatment of infected root canals, specifically in presence of a granuloma.
It ensures the healing of the infection, the resorption of granuloma and the regeneration of the peri-apical tissues. It is also used as a permanent obturation of non-infected (vital) teeth.
Ensures, in one only treatment:&nbsp;

<li>Mix well with the spatula for 10-20 seconds until they are completely mixed together and have turned into an ivory color</li>
<li>Lightly coat the gutta percha point with the mixed material</li>
<li>Insert the gutta percha into the canal. Take an X-ray to check the seal.</li>
