El3yada's Yearly Event (EYE5)

This year on Friday, the 21st of February, our community (El3yada| the study group) will be celebrating 5 years of sharing the passion to spread knowledge among its continuously growing members. That’s why you wouldn’t miss our big scientific event this year including more than five lectures on topics that are essential for the success of your dental practice.

In addition to knowledge, our attendees will be able to get their money back and more through the free gifts, discounts and special offers made by our generous sponsors for our valuable members.

Our event starts at 10 am on Friday the 21st of February,2020.

Lectures:

·         Build your own dental business

Learn the 9 steps that determine the success of any business including your dental business and how to apply them to ensure success in your private dental practice.

The Canvas business model and how to apply it to our private dental practices will be explained by an exceptional dental business consultant:  Dr. Ahmed Mosaad, Our generous guest speaker.

·         Break-a-filo-phobia: Face the fear

If you are not breaking files, then you are not practicing enough endo. Despite how unfortunate that might be, its mandatory to learn how to avoid breaking a file (or  what endodontists like to call file separation), and more importantly how to manage this unfortunate event when it happens.

Dr. Allladin El shazli (lecturer of endodontics, Mansoura university) will explain the reasons behind file separation\fracture, how to avoid, and most importantly how to manage making the choice between the bypass and retrieval options or even the surgical management.

·         Project shaping

Achieving the best quality without jeopardizing time or cost is ultimate goal of any project. Shaping canals is no different, and that is the question that we have to face continuously in our daily practice: How to provide the best quality of treatment while being time and cost effective?

The answer to that will be provided by Dr. Mohammad Osama (asst professor of endodontics, Mansoura university) in such an organized and simplified way, supported by scientific evidence and research while considering the available file systems in the market (including a review on the less expensive Chinese brands) and giving our members a recipe for their daily practice.

·         Endo is not the End: Restoring the endo treated (El3yada's Special Topic)

Its very confusing when it comes to select the restorative option for an endodontically treated tooth. Should it be crowned? Posts! And even more questions.

In this lecture, Dr. Tarek Saeed (asst lecturer of esthetic and restorative dentistry British university of Egypt) will explain the nature of endo treated teeth and how different they are from the vital ones. treatment options will be explored and the guidelines for selecting treatment options will be discussed and explained.

And to make this even more productive, each treatment option will be discussed in detail describing the clinical protocols and how to apply them to the everyday practice.

o   Indirect partial restorations: Durability driven common sense.

Indirect adhesive restorations offer a highly conservative approach for the restoration of endotreated teeth without sacrificing any of the precious pericervical dentine, in addition with this treatment option using a post becomes unnecessary.

Dr. Ahmed Gamal (asst lecturer of esthetic and conservative dentistry, British university of Egypt) will explain the rationale for using this treatment option, concepts for tooth preparation and the clinical protocol to integrate in your daily practice.

o   Code Verti : the strength in simplicity

The vertical approach for crown preparation has been suggested not only to make a it simpler but also to be more conservative which translates into more strength for the restored tooth.

Our extraordinary member, Dr. Amir Doha ( BDS, Mansoura university) will explain the rationale of the vertical approach and take us through the clinical protocol showing us how simple and conservative this can be.

o     Obturation: Facing the challenges

Achieving three dimensional obturation of the root canal system is not always an easy job, thats why its time to learn about the challenges and how to manage them. In this lecture Dr. Tarek Abdel Wahab will point out some of the challenges that complicates the step of obturation and explain how to manage each in our daily practice.
